DIY Log Cabin Squirrel Feeder

Build a log cabin for your squirrels! Cut natural wood dowels to the length needed for each part of the feeder. Notch each side of the logs near either end. Assemble the notches of wood and use wood glue for added stability. Glue small wood dowels together side-by-side to make the roof pieces, glue the roof pieces onto a frame and attach the roof to the cabin. Cut a hole in the front of the cabin for the glass jar and cut a hole in the side of the cabin for a doorway. Fill a jar with unsalted peanuts or other squirrels food, insert the jar into the hole and mount the squirrel feeder in a location your squirrels can easily reach.
