DIY Lost Hamster Retrival

Set some traps to locate your lost hamster! Close the doors to every room of the house. Set a bowl with a matching number of pieces of food in each room. Check the food bowls frequently to determine which room the hamster is in. Sprinkle flour along the walls of hallways and main rooms to look for hamster tracks in those areas. Once you have determined the general location of your hamster, put an open cage on the floor of that room with some peanut butter spread on the cage doorway. If you don’t have a cage that your hamster could climb into, put a towel in a tall container like a bathroom trash can, sprinkle food on the towel, and set a stack of books in a staircase pattern next to the trash can with some pieces of food on each step for your hamster to climb.
