DIY Outdoor Cat Hurricane Shelter

Use a cardboard box to make an emergency shelter for a cat! Cut out a doorway from one side of the box and use duct tape to seal the seams of the box. Wrap the box with a plastic sheet or trash bag and use duct tape to secure the plastic around the box. Shred newspaper and place the shredded paper inside the box for bedding. Placing the box on a wood pallet or other object to raise the shelter off the ground and place small heavy items, such as bricks, on top of or inside the shelter.
