DIY Pet Stomach Stitches Cover

Protect your dog or cat’s stitches from being licked! Measure your pet and the location of your pet’s stitches. Use fabric chalk to draw a square on a piece of felt or other fabric to the size needed for your pet, and draw a set of tie straps along each side of the square. Cut out the shape, with the tie straps attached, and cut out holes for your pet’s legs. Cut a notch at the top of the square to accommodate your pet’s neck. Tape a gauze pad on the inside of the cover at the location of the stitches. Place your pet’s legs through the holes and tie the straps along their back.
