DIY Rabbit Agility Training

Teach your rabbit to hop through an agility course! Begin training your rabbit by interacting with your pet quietly in their safe areas, such as their hutch or playpen, and build trust so that you can pet your rabbit, give your rabbit treats and your rabbit will come to you willingly. Find a small obstacle that will be safe for your rabbit to accidentally bump into, such as a strip of paper or rolled dish towel, place the obstacle between yourself and your rabbit, and entice your rabbit to hop toward you for petting. Gradually increase the height or length of the obstacle and then place additional obstacles in a row to begin course training. Gently re-position your rabbit at the starting line after unsuccessful attempts and reward your pet enthusiastically after each success.
