DIY Rabbit Nail Trim

Keep your rabbit’s nails manicured! Sit with your legs together and gently lay your rabbit on it’s back on the crease where your legs meet. If needed, lay a towel over your rabbit’s eyes. Locate the quick, the dark area of tissues and veins, within each of your rabbits nails, using a flashlight on darker nails if needed. Use round nail clippers to cut off a small amount from each nail at a time from the tip of the nail, being careful not to cut the quick. If you accidentally cut the quick, use a commercial powder for bleeding pet nails or apply flour or cornstarch to the nail tip to stop the bleeding.
