DIY Raffia Spawning Mat

Create a grass-like area to catch the eggs of your spawing koi or other fish! Find a rubber doormat that will fit well in your aquarium and has many small holes across it. Gather about a dozen pieces of raffia ribbon, use another piece of raffia ribbon to tie the bundle in the middle, and continue making bundles until you have enough to cover the mat. Tie the raffia bundles onto various holes across the mat and set the mat in your spawning tank.
