DIY Rock Aquarium Background

Decorate your fish tank with rocks! Cut a sheet of egg crate or Plexiglass to the size needed for your aquarium and scratch the surface with a cheese grater or sander. Wash river rocks or stones thoroughly and use aquarium silicone to glue the rocks onto the background. Allow the silicone to dry, shake off any loose rocks and glue the homemade aquarium rock wall to the back of your fish, frog or turtle tank.
