DIY Rustic Cat Tree

Construct a rustic cat tree for your pet to climb! Find sturdy tree branches from a log supplier or landscape company and cut a thick piece of plywood for the platform base. Assemble the branches to have a wide base and gathered body, sand the branches in the locations they will connect and drill the branches to each other and onto the platform. Cut pieces of wood for the cat perches, cover the perches with carpet and drill the perches onto the cat tree. Hang cat toys from the branches and set the cat tree on a non-slip rug.
