DIY Screen Top Basking Cage

Use a screen top to make a cage for your tortoise to bask in outdoors! Get a screened aquarium top and measure it. Cut piece of wood to the lengths needed to fit just inside each edge of the screened top. Assemble the wood pieces. Set the wood frame outside in a sunny area, put your tortoise in the cage with some water and anything else they made need, and put the screened top on the frame. Lay a towel over part of the cage to create a shaded area in case your pet needs it.
