DIY Shed Chicken Coop

Modify a plastic shed to house your chickens! Cut small pieces of wood and drill them together to make a shelf frame, roost, and a frame for one of the doors. Cover the doorway frame with wire mesh and attach paint buckets on the shelf frame for nest boxes. Attach a gate latch to the screened frame and unscreened door. Cut a hole near the base of the back wall of the shed for a doorway, and assemble a run behind the shed using wire mesh. Line the base of the run with hardware cloth, and attach a tarp over a portion of the run. Attach eye bolts to the sides of the shed and use bungee cords to fasten the run to the shed.
