DIY Snake Sailor Costume

Dress your snake as a sailor for Halloween! Measure the top of your snake’s head. Cut four pointed semicircles of fabric and sew the side edges together. Cut a long strip of fabric, sew one long edge around the base of the hat, then fold up the edge and sew it in place. Flip the base edge of the hat upwards and glue a ribbon around the outside. Set the hat on your snake’s head, apply a little peanut butter along the edge if needed to help hold the hat in place, and set a tiny boat near your pet.
