DIY Spinning CD Case Toy

Make a spinning toy for your birds! Get a small CD spindle case. Drill a hole through the lid, and put an empty mechanical pencil or small wood dowel through the hole and the spindle. Cut a piece of fluffy trim and glue the trim around the lid. Thread beads onto a chain, thread pieces of loofah onto either end of the chain, and hang either end of the pencil or dowel on the chain between the loofahs. Hang the toy in your pet’s cage and consider putting several beads inside the CD case so the toy makes noise when it spins.
