DIY Tortoise Shark Costume

Dress your tortoise as a shark for Halloween! Measure your tortoise. Cut a circle of grey fabric to the size needed. Fold the front of the circle on either side of the shark’s face so the fabric will lay flat on your tortoise’s shell and sew the fold in place. Draw the shape of the shark fin on a piece of paper, cut out the shape and use the paper template to cut out two matching pieces from the grey fabric. Sew the sides of the fin fabrics together with some stuffing or foam inside. Repeat the process to make a tail fin, then sew the fin onto the shark costume. Sew or draw a eyes on the shark, and attach a piece of string and a button on the sides of the costume for a strap.
