DIY Wild Bird Welcome Sign

Welcome wild birds to your yard with a  friendly sign! Draw the letters for the word, “Welcome,” or another word you like on a piece of cardboard and cut out the letters. Poke a hole in the top of each letter and feed a string through the hole to tie the letters to a tree branch. Spread a layer of peanut butter on either side of each letter and sprinkle bird seed onto the peanut butter. Hang the sign in a tree and decorate your yard with bird-friendly features, such as a bird bath, nest material dispenser or suet feeder.
