DIY Wood Christmas Tree Barricade Stand

Build a tree stand that doubles as a barricade from your pets! Get a large wooden shipping crate or build your own. Put four buckets in the crate upside-down. Cut a piece of plywood to the size needed and lay it over the buckets. Assemble your tree on the platform, then wrap the base with burlap, a tree skirt, or another fabric.
