Drink Carton Nest Box

Make an empty milk or juice carton into a birdhouse! Get a half-gallon paper carton, cut off the top and slit the corners of the carton down to about the middle. Fold down about an inch of the flap on the back of the carton and continue folding down the flap until it reaches the base of the slits. Fold each of the sides flaps over the top of the box area, then fold back the front flap and tape it in place. Draw a semicircle or rectangle just below the front edge of the roof and cut out the shape to make the doorway. Use the flap on the back of the nest box to hang the box in your bird’s cage or a tree.
