Egg Carton Bird Foraging Toy

Upcycle an egg carton into a toy for your birds! Get a paper egg carton and cut out each of the egg cups. Cut up the leftover carton parts into pieces. Poke a hole through each of the egg cups, cut a string, tie a knot at one end of the string, and thread the egg cups onto the string, switching directions each time to create pocket areas. Poke a hole through the remaining carton pieces and thread them onto an additional string. Tie the strings together at the top and tuck treats into the cup pockets for your bird to find.
