Fabric Chicken Saddle

Make a chicken saddle to protect your bird’s back feathers from rooster claws! Cut out a square piece of fabric with a small flap from a piece of thick cotton material and a decorative fabric. Sew together the fabrics and attach an elastic strap to the corners of the flap as well as the front corners of the large square for a belly strap.
