File Tray Rat Hammock

Turn a paper file tray into a hammock for your rats! Get a wire file tray. Cut two pieces of fabric and a piece of batting to the size of a sheet of paper. Sew the edges of the fabrics together with the batting inside to make a bed for the tray. Hang the tray in your rat’s cage with lanyard hooks, and attach a ramp on one side for your rats to easily climb in and out.
