Pine Cone Bird Feeder

Help your wild neighbors survive winter with decorative natural bird feeders! Wrap a pipe cleaner or string around the top of a pine cone for hanging. Use a spatula to slather the pine cone with peanut butter, honey or broth and roll the sticky pine cone in a bowl of sunflower seeds or other high fat seeds and consider adding raisins or cranberries as well. Hang the bird feeder ornaments from tree branches in your yard and keep a supply of pine cones to replace the ornaments through the winter.
