Cardboard Box Turtle Basking Area

Give your pet turtle the full aquarium for swimming by attaching a basking platform to the top! Cut off the side of a cardboard box, leaving small flaps to angle the heat inwards, and cut off the top of the box. Set the box on one end of your aquarium tank, fill the box with rocks and potted plants and attach a light to the side of the box. Make a climbing ramp for the tank by covering a piece of cardboard with concrete and pushing river stones into the cement.
