Birdhouse Turtle Hide

Modify a birdhouse to accommodate your turtles, tortoises, or other small pets! Remove the bottom of the birdhouse or cut out a large portion of the bottom. Measure the width and height of your pet, and cut a hole in the side of the birdhouse for a doorway. Paint or decorate the turtle hide and cover the house with a sealant. Furnish the house with a rock for shell-scratching, bed of leaf litter or other appropriate furniture for your pet.
