DIY Cat Safety Box

Give your cats a safe place to hide from the dogs! Cut pieces of wood for the box frame, cut slits for ventilation in the top and lower slats, and cut out a doorway from one of the side walls. Construct the box frame with the lower slats on hinges for human access and install shelves and climbing areas in the box. Cover the inside surfaces of the box with carpet, paint the wood and install pieces of Plexiglass as windows.
