DIY Door Hang Scratcher

Make a scratching board to hang from a doorknob! Cut a piece of wood to the desired size. Wipe the top edge of the board with wood glue, wind the end of a sisal rope over the edge of the board and use rubber bands to hold the rope in place while the glue dries. Wipe the board with glue and wrapping the rope over the wet glue area, continuing until the board is nearly covered with rope. When nearing the base of the board, form the rope outward in the shape of the handle, then continue wrapping the board until it is fully covered.  Cut off the excess rope and hang the board on a doorknob for your cat.
