DIY Dried Fungi Vivarium Decor

Decorate your vivarium with dried fungi for your reptiles or amphibians to hide under and climb! Gather bracket fungus caps from the sides of dead trees or branches and lay the caps on a tray in the sun to dry. Determine which of the dried caps are durable and which will crumble, and use a saw or sandpaper to smooth the back edge of the caps. Use aquarium sealant or rubber cement to glue the caps to the wall of a plastic or glass tank, or drill screws into the back of the caps and use copper wire to hang the caps on the side of your turtle or lizard tank.
