DIY Flowerpot Pleco Cave

Turn a flowerpot into a breeding cave for your plecos or other fish! Cut a small terracotta flowerpot in half, cut off the bottom of one of the flowerpot halves to create an entrance and sand the cut edges of the flowerpot smooth. Cut a piece of tile into the shape needed for the base of the cave or use perspex instead of tile so that you can check on the eggs. Use aquarium silicone to glue the flowerpots together and onto the tile, and wash the cave before placing it in your aquarium.
