DIY Lost Rodent Alarm Trap

Create an alarm trap to help find your lost pet! Cut a rectangle of cardboard. Fold the rectangle almost in half length-wise, leaving a small piece extending outward on one side. Fold the extending piece inward to create a triangle-shape. Use a piece of double-sided tape to attach the flap onto a door or window alarm. Wrap pieces of duct tape around the sides of the folded pieces so that they are held open several inches. Wipe peanut butter or other treats on the center of the trap and attach the alarm on a wall at floor level in an area your hamster may pass.
