DIY Straw Bug Catcher

Collect bugs in a jar without touching them! Remove the lid from a jar and use a hammer and nail to punch two holes in the lid. Hammer the edges of the holes smooth, place a drinking straw in each hole and wrap each straw with duct tape to hold it onto the lid. Wrap a piece of gauze around the bottom of one straw and secure the gauze with duct tape. Fill the jar with leaves, twigs and grass for your bugs to enjoy and spray the inside of the jar with water. Fasten the lid on the jar, suck air through the straw that has gauze and hold the other straw over the bug.
