DIY Underwater Sand Waterfall

Create a an underwater waterfall in your aquarium tank! Cut a piece of PVC and cut a small half-circle out of one edge of the pipe. Attach a PVC L-connector to the opposite end of the pipe, drill a small hole in the top of the PVC connector and run an airline hose through the hole to the bottom of the pipe. Attach an air stone to the end of the air hose and attach the hose to the air pump. Use aquarium silicone to glue the pipe to the side of your aquarium tank with the top half of the PVC connector above the water line. Fill the area around the base of the pipe with pool filtration sand, adjust the air pressure of the pump to the desired waterfall flow and place a barrier in front of the pipe to catch the falling sand.
