Dog Crate Tortoise Enclosure

Use a dog crate to enclose your tortoise’s habitat! Get a dog crate that is the ideal size for your tortoise. If possible, arrange the crate so that the door is on the top. Line the bottom of the crate with a piece of a tarp, plastic crate liner or piece of plywood. Line the inside edges of the crate with paving stones. Fill the base of the crate with dirt. Transplant various edible plants for your tortoise into the dirt and furnish the habitat with other items that your tortoise needs.
