Jar Ant Farm

Give an ant colony a home made out of two jars! Place a small jar upside-down inside the center of a large jar and pour sandy soil around the small jar. Poke tiny holes in the lid of the jar for ventilation, put your ants in the jar and watch as they build a farm-away-from-farm in the soil. Also consider planting a small plant in the soil for the ants to enjoy.
