Pellet Alfalfa Horse Treat Ring

Make a treat ring to hang in your horse’s stall! Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and melt the sugar and corn syrup in a pan. Use a cooking thermometer to test the sugar mixture or place a bowl of ice water near the stove, drip a bit of the boiling sugar mixture into the ice water to test it and remove the sugar mixture from the stove when the drips harden quickly in the water. Add the sugar mixture to the ingredients and press the mixture into a bunt pan. Bake the horse treat, allow the treat to cool and use a string to hang the treat ring in your horse’s stall.
