PVC Algae Scraper

Assemble an algae scraper out of PVC pipe! Cut a piece of PVC pipe to the length needed for your tank. Attach a 45 degree PVC elbow connector on one end of the pipe and insert a small piece of pipe in the open end of the elbow connector. Carefully slice a thin line into the open end of the small pipe piece and insert a razor blade into the slice. Use a metal razor blade if your tank is glass or a plastic razor blade if your tank is acrylic.
