TV Frame Terrarium

Turn an old television frame into a cage for your snake or other reptile! Get a wood television frame stand. Cut a large hole in the top of the stand for the heat lamp, cover the inside of the hole with wire mesh, and set the lamp on top. Cut pieces of foam to make textured walls, glue the foam onto the walls, and cover the foam with grout. Drill holes through the side walls for ventilation, attach a light on the ceiling, and drill a hole through the back wall for the light plug. Cut a piece of linoleum or tile to fit in the base of the habitat area, and a piece of Plexiglass to cover the front. Attach the Plexiglass on the front of the TV stand with hinges and a latch.
