DIY Sugar Glider Wheel
Help your sugar glider stay fit with an exercise wheel! Get two matching plastic bucket lids and cut out the center of one lid, then sand the cut edge smooth. Use a drill to make a small hole in the center of both the solid bucket lid and a ceiling box cover. Sand the inside of a PVC T-connector and put a bearing in the connector. Attach the lid, cover plate, and PVC connector with a bolt, lock nut, washers, and PVC end cap. Drill holes around the sides of the bucket lids, cut a piece of plastic mesh to the size needed for the wheel track, and attach the mesh between the two lids using zip ties. Cover the area where the ends of the plastic mesh meet with a plastic -strip. Assemble a stand for the wheel using PVC pipes and connectors.
