DIY Cat New Year’s Top Hat

Dress your cat up to celebrate New Year’s with a festive top hat! Cut a piece of decorative paper into a rectangle, then glue a strip of another paper along the bottom edge to create the hat band. Glue the short ends of the rectangle together to create the main part of the top hat. Cut a square piece of paper slightly larger than the circle of the hat, glue the hat onto the paper, then cut the square paper to make the brim of the hat. Repeat the process, cutting the next piece as close to the edge as possible to create the top of the top hat. Glue curled strips of colored paper to the top of the hat, write the year on a piece of paper, and glue the date paper onto the center of the hat.
