DIY Aquarium Filter Silencer

Is the noise of the aquarium filter driving you crazy? Use this neat trick to soften the sound! Cut a wire coat hanger into two pieces and bend the ends into hooks. Punch two holes in an aquarium filter pad and hang the filter on the hooks. Bend the other ends of the coat hanger wires to hang on the ledge of your aquarium filter.
