DIY Dog Bike Basket

Make a bike carrier for your dog! Attach a bike rack on the back of your bike. Use zip ties to attach a plastic milk crate on the rack. Get a square seat cushion or throw pillow that fits in the crate, or sew a pillow to fit in the crate. Thread cargo straps through the base of the plastic crate and rack to crate an X-shape over the top of the cushion, and use zip ties to attach the straps on the bottom of the crate. Fasten a biner hook on the center of the X, then use a zip tie to fasten the link and center of the X in place. Clip the biner hook on the base of your dog’s harness and get or make your dog some goggles to wear during the ride if needed.
