DIY Aquarium Cleaner Hose

Stop carrying your heavy aquarium tank to the sink for cleaning! Attach a faucet adapter to your sink that can also act as a drain and attach a garden hose to the adapter. Attach a shut-off valve and female hose end to the other end of the garden hose. Make your own gravel cleaner hose out of a plastic bottle and air tube, and attach the gravel vacuum to the female hose end with aquarium silicone. To clean the tank, slowly turn on the shut-off valve and move the gravel vacuum over the gravel as the tank drains. Adjust the faucet adapter to refill the aquarium.
