DIY Bird Couch

Create a seating area for your birds! Cut a piece of chipboard into a square and notch the edges at the locations needed for it to fit between the wires in a corner of your bird’s cage. Get a basket that is a good size for the couch and trace the outline of the basket’s edge on the chipboard. Cut out the tracing just smaller than it needs to be and push the basket into the hole. Fill the basket with slotted cat toys and put a stuffed cat toy on top to act as a couch cushion. Tuck bird-safe twigs into the slotted cat toys for your birds to enjoy while they rest on the couch and hang other toys or treats for them to enjoy while they stand on the platform.
