DIY Cat Bee Costume

Dress your cat as a bumblebee for Halloween! Measure your cat. Cut a rectangle of black fabric to wrap over your cat’s back, cut strips of yellow fabric for the bee stripes and attach the yellow stripes on the black rectangle. Cut a piece of elastic to wrap around your cat’s belly, cut pieces of black and yellow tulle, and tie each piece around the elastic band to make a tutu. Attach a Velcro fastener on either end of the elastic band, then attach the tutu onto the base of the bee costume. Cut a small elastic band and attach either end over the chest area of the bee costume. Bend black pipe cleaners into the shape of bee wings, attach a piece of tulle over each wing, and attach the wings on the back of the bee costume. Cut a small square of cardboard and glue the cardboard inside the bee costume under the wings. Consider coiling a rope and gluing it in place to make a beehive and attaching small faux bees on it.
