DIY Chicken Grazing Frames

Provide your chicken’s with a way to graze while also protecting the plant’s roots! Cut pieces of rot-resistant wood into four beams to create a rectangle, then cut extra pieces the same length as the shorter sides of the rectangle. Assemble the rectangle, then attach the extra pieces at evenly spaced intervals inside the rectangle. Cut a piece of hardware cloth to the same size as the rectangle and attach it on top. Plant seeds, set the frame over the seeded area, and make additional grazing frames to cover more of the seeded area.
