DIY Cooler Wild Critter Den

Make a warm, safe den for your wild neighbors! Cut a hole in the side of a cooler and insert a foot-long piece of PVC pipe in the hole to allow friendly critters to enter and keep predators from being able to pull them out. Brace the pipe with L-brackets, consider securing the lid shut and place a small blanket or towel inside the cooler for comfort. Set the den somewhere safe that a feral cat, stray raccoon or other animals can enjoy it, such as the corner of your yard or side of your porch.
