DIY Dog Kong Costume

Dress your dog as their Kong toy for Halloween! Measure your dog. Cut two large strips of red fabric, and two medium strips of red fabric. Sew the long edges of the matching fabrics together to make two long fabric tubes. Fill the tubes with stuffing, sew the short edges of the tubes shut, and attach Velcro fasteners to each of the short ends. Draw the shape of the top section of the costume on newspaper, use the paper template to cut out two matching pieces from the red fabric, then sew the edges of the two pieces together with some stuffing inside. Sew the three sections of the Kong together, attach Velcro fasteners to the neck straps, and write the Kong logo on the back of the costume with marker.
