DIY Heated Cat Shelter

Keep your outdoor or stray cat warm and sheltered in the winter! Cut a hole in the front of a plastic storage bin and install a cat door or cover the opening with carpet flaps and duct tape. Glue a piece of insulation around the inside of the container and lid, place a heating pad in the bottom of the box and attach the timer to the wall. Place a cardboard box over the bottom of the container and fill the box with a pillow, blanket or bed of straw. Consider placing a water bowl inside the shelter as well.
