DIY Outdoor Turtle Run

Make an outdoor enclosure for your turtles! Cut and assemble wood beams for the frame of the enclosure, attaching the door area with hinges. Dig out the area inside the enclosure, lay some chicken wire along the base, then fill in the area again. Cover the entire enclosure with chicken wire, then cover all of the enclosure except the top half of one side and the door area with plastic sheeting for added warmth. Dig out several inches of soil from the back of where the pool will be to create an angled surface, put the kiddie pool in place, and add rocks, plants, and a ramp to the pool. Plant grass seeds in the enclosure, and add decorative and edible plants for your turtles, rocks, gravel, and anything else they may need or want.
