DIY Reverse Rat E-Collar

Make a reverse Elizabethan collar for your rat to wear after surgery! Draw a template for the E-skirt on a piece of paper and cut out the template. Use the template to cut a circle out of a piece of plastic or cardboard, such as the lid from a plastic container or a piece of posterboard, and cut out a circle from the center for your pet’s body. Ensure the edges of the skirt are smooth for your rat by sanding the plastic and wrapping the edges with a strip of fabric or duct tape. Cut a line through plastic to the center circle and apply a strip of Velcro along either edge of the cut.
