DIY Snake Respiratory Infection Remedy

Help your snake fight a respiratory infection in the early stages! Get a small plastic container that can accommodate your snake, and drill ventilation holes along the sides of the container. Get a large plastic container that can easily hold the small container. Boil water in a pot. Pour one cup of boiling water, and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of Vicks Vapor Rub and several drops of eucalyptus oil. Put the sick snake in the small container, and set the small container inside the large container along with the cup of medicine. Put the lid on the large container, remove the lid after about five minutes to check on your snake, then replace the lid for another few minutes. Remove your snake after no more than ten minutes of treatment. Take your snake to the vet if the infection is serious and always double check with a vet that a home remedy will be safe for your pet before starting.
