DIY Squirrel Feeder Maze
Challenge your squirrels with an adjustable maze! Cut a thick square of plywood, two long wood beams for the sides of the box and two short wood beams for the top and bottom of the box. Carve dado lines in a woven pattern across the surface of the plywood. Attach the beams around the sides of the plywood square. Cut pieces of wood for the door, assemble the wood, attach a piece of wire mesh over the door and attach the door to the maze with hinges. Cut a hole out of the top or bottom of the maze for the squirrels to enter, and cut slats of wood to the size needed to fit into the dado lines. Assemble the wood slats in the dado lines and set some unsalted peanuts at the end of the maze for the squirrels.
I would like to make this, but need know the size. I can’t hear what it says on Youtube because I’m deaf.
Shaun,
There isn’t any verbal information in the video; the only information is what is written in the video, description, and comments. The video poster said in the comments that the back panel of the maze is 4ft. by 4ft, but the edges are each 45 inches long to fit on top of the panel.
